- First time India is hosting a World Athletics Bronze Level Continental Tour meet.
- Part of the World Athletics Continental Tour, the second-tier global competition after the Diamond League.
- Tour Structure: Continental Tour has four levels – Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Challenger.
- Objective: Opportunity for Indian athletes to earn World Ranking Points and qualify for the World Athletics Championships 2025 in Tokyo.

- Animesh Kujur – India’s fastest man (100m & 200m national record holder).
- Murali Sreeshankar – Long jump specialist, on a 3-event winning streak.
- Mohammed Afsal – National record holder in men’s 800m.
- Shaili Singh – Women’s long jump.
- Vithya Ramraj – Women’s 400m.
- Sachin Yadav and Yashvir Singh – Men’s javelin (in absence of Neeraj Chopra).
- Annu Rani – Women’s javelin.
- Abdulla Aboobacker – Men’s triple jump.
- Jeswin Aldrin – Men’s long jump.

- Athletes from 16 countries.
