9 Indian Boxers Qualified For Tokyo , 2020

As you are aware that the 2020 Summer Olympics also known as Tokyo 2020 is scheduled to be held from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. In order to participate in the multisport event following Indian boxers have been qualified, their names of the boxers are as follows ;

  1. Pooja Rani (F-75 Kg)Achievements
  • 12th South Asian Games held in Shillong, from 10th to15th Feb. 2016- Gold Medal
  • 6th Asian Women Boxing championship held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 16 to 26 March 2012- Silver   Medal
  • 13th Senior Women National Boxing Championship held in Guwahati, Assam from 25th to 29th Nov. 2012:Gold  Medal
  • 16th Senior Women National Boxing Championship held in Bongaigaon, Assam from 27th Oct. to 2nd Nov.2015: Gold  Medal

2. Vikash Krishan  Yadav (M- 69Kg) Achievements

  • 2010 Asian Youth Boxing Championships were held in Tehran, Iran –Gold Medal
  • 2010 Summer Youth Olympic held in Singapore –Bronze Medal

3. Lovlina Borgohain (F- 69 Kg)Achievements

  • Asian Boxing Championships in Vietnam in November 2017-Bronze Medal
  • Ulaanbaatar Cup in Mongolia in June 2018- Silver Medal
  • 13th International Silesian Championship in Poland in September- Bronze Medal

4. Ashish Kumar (M-75Kg)Achievements

  • 2019 Asian Boxing Championships and India Open –Silver Medal
  • 2019 Thailand Open-Gold Medal

5. Satish Kumar ( M- +91Kg)Achievements

  •  2014 Asian Games at Incheon – Bronze Medal

6. Amit Panghal ( M -52 Kg)Achievements

  • 2017 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships in Tashkent  in May 2017- Bronze Medal

  • 2002 AIBA Women’s World Championships, Antalya, Turkey- Gold Medal
