Moscow Wushu Star 2020: Gardener’s daughter Anju Kumari bags gold

Indian  Wushu player Anju Kumari clinched gold medal in Moscow Wushu Star 2020 held in Russia from 24-29 Feb 2020. The competition was organized by the International Wushu Federation and the European Wuhu Federation which witnessed a participation of 700 athletes from 19 countries.

17 years old Anju Kumari is a student of Government Model Sr School Sector 26 and her father is a gardener at Butterfly Park Sector 26 Chandigarh. Anju got her initial training in Self-defense from ” swayam Team of Chandigarh Police “but a couple of years ago she started training in the “Wushu Association of Chandigarh“.

The daughter of Bal Krishnan  Anju quickly learned the methodology the sports of Wushu, and because of her excellence, she won the gold medal in the 18th Junior National Wushu Championship held in the month of  September ie from 15-20 September 2019 in Chandigarh.
